All of our engineers are qualified to City & Guilds standard as well as undergoing both our rigorous in-house induction and regular training seminars. This meets the requirements of the HSE and Insurance Companies etc.

DBS

Portable Appliance Tests

  • All test engineers are qualified to a minimum City & Guilds 2377 part 2 Certificate of Portable Appliance Testing and Repairs and/or certified by the National Association for Professional

  • Inspectors and Testers (NAPIT). The tests to the equipment shall be carried out in accordance with the Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment 4th Edition, published by the Institution of

Electrical Installation Condition Reports

  • All test engineers are qualified to a minimum City & Guilds 2391 Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.

  • The tests to the installation shall be carried out in accordance with 17th Edition Wiring Regulations BS 7671:2008 (2011), published by the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

DBS

The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)

  • The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) have merged to become the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). CRB checks are now called DBS checks.

  • For peace of mind, all our engineers have undergone an Enhanced DBS Checks.
